The "communauté d'agglomération" (town community), is made up of 283,200 inhabitants, that is to say 45% of the county ("département") population.

The community is naturally the best suited group of people to work on the development of the whole area. It does so by developing a number of projects and by contributing to the financing of large infrastructures such as the international airport and university buildings.

It is developing and managing business parks which can be of interest to the community: the future Cyber-Centre, the logistics park etc.

Clermont Communauté built an indoor athletics stadium and is going to determine the type of projects which could benefit the community in the future.

If you want to discover more about the tourist resources of Clermont Communauté, the Tourist and Conference Information Office suggests a brochure for you "Laissez-vous guider ".
